HARD-WIRED TO EDUCATE:  Lisa is an accomplished teacher, learning specialist and consultant. She has over 30 years experience in the field of education and holds degrees in Spanish and Communications from Simmons College as well as a Master's Degree in Education from The American International College.  Lisa has also completed extensive training in learning style assessments, personal and professional coaching, and brain-based learning strategies, sound traning and sensory supports such as the application of essential oils.  She has developed successful programs for students who are challenged by more “traditional” methods of learning, particularly in the area of language acquisition.  

Lisa has successfully helped students of all ages overcome difficulties with organization and learning challenges, in both corporate and academic settings. Lisa’s goal is to give each student the tools necessary to become successful and confident, overcome current challenges, and achieve their goals. Lisa started REWIRED to inspire students of all ages, and enable the exploration of their passions and talents.

In addition to working one-on-one with students to "power their potential", Lisa conducts one-day workshops that provide support and tools for study and organization. She also offers private tutoring for students for more specific academic support. Lisa helps students realize their full potential, talents, and goals by matching their learning styles to effective approaches, and teaches techniques to improve reading, writing and memory.  Students attending Lisa’s trainings and workshops feel confident and excited to achieve new levels of success in all areas of their lives.  In addition to the REWIRED programs, Lisa also founded The Language Advantage Foreign Language Programs and was an instructor at The Governors Academy in Byfield, MA for eighteen years. She resides in Salisbury, MA with her husband Michael and daughter Casey.
